Critics, fans, and fellow celebrities were quick to respond. Fashion columnist alex mucci called the clip “a masterclass in glamorized narcissism,” while media critic alexandra hunt labeled it “cultural gaslighting disguised as ambition.” Influencer and mental health advocate alexandralexilee posted a reaction video in tears, saying, “When people like Airikacal say things like this, it tells every young girl that her real self is worthless unless she can filter it into a fantasy.
